O2 Business | Record Store.

THE BRIEF

VCCP and O2 turned to our teams to produce a new TV commercial featuring a friendly face – Bubl – the ever-helpful o2 robot who offers a welcome bit of warmth to stand out against other, often corporate, Business comms.

OUR APPROACH

o2 Business’ multi-million pound B2B campaign, is designed to show the nation’s SMBs how its tariffs and digital tools can adapt as their business changes, all on o2’s flexible network. MPC Creative helped launch the campaign with a TV advert that follows the journey of sole trader, Ted, whose shop has been forced to close. We see Ted struggling to adjust his business with the ever-changing climate, when o2 Business’ flexible credentials – realised by his reliable comrade, the o2 robot, Bubl – support him through this transition.

MPC Creative produced this live action shoot combining talent, performance and a 3D character (Bubl), bringing all our expertise to ensure the VFX and live action integrated seamlessly into a beautifully crafted film.

THE RESULT

The campaign is fully integrated with Brand and Trading comms appearing across TV, BVOD, Social, OLV, Retail, Online, Content and PR and to celebrate the launch o2 Business ran a competition on their Twitter channel with a prize of concert tickets and record store tokens. The ad picked up media coverage in Campaign, The Drum, Ad Week and LBB.
